Ocean Motel - Paraparaumu

stayed here before in paraparaumu, but ocean motel really impressed me this time. lovely manager, comfy and clean room, great amenities like wifi and sky tv, and a quiet location near the airport. exceeded my expectations!

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel on the Kapiti coast. the location was excellent, situated in a quiet street but just a short and easy 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach. Secondly, the hotel offered great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely kitchenette that had everything I needed. Lastly, the staff were friendly and provided exceptional service, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great and I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

Well-kept, great location for beach and village, helpful advice on places to eat, cozy heating, wonderful outdoor area.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The motel is situated in the heart of the town, close to shops and restaurants. It's only a short walk to the beach area where you can enjoy the sea view while having a meal. the rooms are spacious and come with a fair amount of equipment available for use.

The hotel lacks sound insulation, making it difficult to sleep when neighbouring rooms are being used.

The motel staff were friendly and cute, provided chocolates on check-in, and allowed us to bring our pet even though they no longer advertise as pet-friendly. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and had new appliances and furnishings. The kitchen had more facilities than expected. The staff was helpful and attentive, even squeegeeing our car windows in the morning. There was a nice playground and a wide selection of TV channels.

We loved the convenient location of this hotel, as it was close to the event we were attending and near shops and beach. The hotel facilities were great and parking was easy to find. The breakfast was satisfying, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed over Christmas and had a great time. the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We loved the private courtyard where we could sit and relax. the location was amazing, just a short walk from the beach and restaurants. We also appreciate the eco-friendly products in the room.

The Wi-Fi could have been better, and we had a bit of trouble with the television.

As party people, we loved the convenient location, just a 10-minute walk from the meeting place for our Kapiti Island trip. the motel allowed us to leave our car for the day, which was a plus. the room was functional and well cared for, with all the amenities we needed. the staff were exceptionally pleasant and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. There were restaurants within walking distance and a big supermarket just a 5-minute drive away. Other attractions like the Southward Car museum were also nearby.
